Fun Facts:
George lived in Williamsport with his wife, Clara, until 1899. At this time, he left her and "abandoned" her in Williamsport, PA and began unlawfully cohabiting with Ella Hall. Two years later, he and Ella moved to Washington State. He never legally divorced Clara. Clara lived out the remaining of her years in Williamsport and is buried there at Wildwood Cemetery.

George was a logger and/or a day laborer involving the woods or logging while in Pennsylvania.

His sons Walter and George followed him to Thurston County. His only other surviving child, Elizabeth, stayed back in Pennsylvania with her mother, Clara.
